What it is
One part sets the fit: the opening.
The top plate is the disc your drink sits in. It is the single piece of the Rinashi holder that decides how wide an opening you get — so it is the single piece you swap when the drink changes.
The mount on your car never moves. The bracket stays torqued to the seat rail. You lift off the old plate and drop on the new one — nothing to re-fit, nothing to re-drill, nothing left behind. You are tuning the holder you already own to your habit, not gambling on a generic part.
Three openings, one holder: 3.0″, 3.5″, and 4.0″. You pick by the bottle in your hand, not the one someone else guessed at.
Which opening
Size the opening to the bottle you carry.
Each plate holds a bottle up to 0.1″ under its opening. Measure your bottle at its widest point, then pick from there:
- 3.0″ — clears up to 2.9″. Cans, coffee cups, most slim water bottles. The only plate the FlexCup drops into.
- 3.5″ — clears up to 3.4″. The 18 oz Yeti and RTIC class.
- 4.0″ — clears up to 3.9″. A large tumbler.
Get it right and the bottle seats flush and stays put. Get it wrong in a classic and you feel it: an opening too small means forcing a bottle against machined aluminum; too large means a bottle loose enough to rock toward the shifter of a 964 on a back road. Size it once, correctly, and neither happens.
One plate or two
Swap one in — or run two at once.
Buy one plate to replace the opening you have. Or add a second plate and run the holder as a two-up: coffee in one, water in the other. The pairing is yours to set:
- Two drinks — say a 3.5″ and a 4″, each sized to what the driver and passenger carry.
- Drink and pocket — a bottle in one plate, keys and sunglasses in a FlexCup in the other.
- Two FlexCups — both openings running the soft pocket for the small stuff.
One rule on the FlexCup: it seats in the 3.0″ opening only — not the 3.5″, not the 4″. If a FlexCup is part of your plan, one of your plates has to be the 3.0″.

The 3″ plate does double duty
Turn the 3″ opening into a pocket
The FlexCup drops into the 3.0″ opening — a soft pocket for keys, sunglasses, and the coins that roll around a footwell. It is not a second bottle holder; the plates carry the drinks. If one of your openings is the 3.0″, this is the small-stuff upgrade that rides in it.
The 3" was just tad small for most of my cups. The 3 1/2" fits much better. Thanks!

Shipping is too expensive
Hi Albert, thank you for your feedback. Shipping from Montreal can be a little expensive, however , rest assured, shipping is a pass through cost for us. We do not mark up shipping costs.
To install on my ‘67 Mustang requires a little more work than I am comfortable doing. Kudo's though to the team at Rinashi for reaching out to help me and for making the return easy. This is a well made and designed product with great support, so don't let my little experience dissuade you.

Which opening fits your drink.
Which top-plate size fits my bottle?
Measure your bottle at its widest point. The 3" opening fits up to ø2.9" — cans, coffee cups, most water bottles. The 3½" fits up to ø3.4" — the 18 oz Yeti class. The 4" fits up to ø3.9" — large tumblers. By design the bottle rests on the car's floor: the plate steadies it, the floor carries the weight.
Is the FlexCup a second drink holder?
No. The FlexCup is a flexible pocket for keys, sunglasses, gum — the small stuff that otherwise rolls around the footwell. It is not built to carry bottle weight; the top plates do that. It fits the 3" top plate only.
What if it doesn't fit — or I change my mind?
Defective, damaged, or missing parts: contact us within 30 days with photos and we'll send a replacement or refund you in full, no cost to you. Changed your mind: returns are accepted within 30 days if the item is unused and in original packaging — you cover return shipping and a 25% restocking fee applies. So ask the fitment question first: it's free, and we answer within a day.
