Rinashi no-drill cup holder installed beside a classic-car console

Why owners trust it

The best upgrade is the one no one can tell you made.

A cup holder shouldn't cost you what you love about the car. No drilling, no glue, no bracket through a floor you've spent years getting right — it mounts to the seat-rail bolt the factory already torqued, and lifts off without a trace the day you want it stock again. Fitted, most people assume it came with the car — and your coffee finally has a home instead of your knees.

Rinashi cup holder mounted to a classic-car seat rail

How it's made

Engineered, not stamped.

Laser-cut metal, powder-coated, machined and assembled in Canada — the parts owners call “well engineered” and “like it came with the car.” The bottle rests on the floor, not cantilevered off the arm, so nothing bounces or rattles on a spirited back road. Install is about five minutes with one wrench: loosen the seat-rail bolt, seat the bracket, torque it back. No wiring, no glue, no hardware-store run — it's all in the box. Over 5,000 sold.

What's in the box

Every bracket your car might need. Included.

The full kit, exploded: the holder, the 3.0″ top plate, both sleeve assemblies, washer plate, L-brackets, and every base plate — small and long, rectangular and oblong — plus spacers. A printed installation guide and the install video QR come in the box.

The configuration chart

Whatever your seat rail, one of these fits.

The V3 guide matches your seat-rail layout and bolt size to the appropriate base plate, then walks through the lower assembly and top-plate installation.

Great product. Looks sleek, not obstructive. Simple installation and matches the phone holder you should get when you purchase the cup holder for your 911/912.

Rock solid solution in my Porsche 356C Outlaw. I had a 3D printed cup holder before and the first time it snagged on a pants leg, it cracked. No good! This one is well made, close tolerance and gorgeous. 6 Stars.

Excellent product. Not only is it extremely functional, but it really matches well with the interior of my Porsche 911.

Perfect fit for my E30. And it looks great in the interior. Solves an age old problem in the old BMW. Have tried many other awkward solutions and this is by far the most stable, good looking solution.

It may be made for older car, but put it in my 2024 Corvette Stingray. It was an easy installation and looks great.

Installed in my 2025 Morgan Plus Four. The number of parts is a bit daunting, but a little logic indicated it could only fit one way. Seems to work well. Be sure to put the seat rail spacer on the other side rail, or your seat will not slide smoothly.

I installed these in my 1984 Monte Carlo SS and they work awesome. The design is extremely well thought out and the quality is excellent.

I’m a bigger guy at 6'5" and around 300 lbs, so interior room matters a lot to me in an older car. What I really like is that I can swing the cup holder toward the middle where it’s comfortable and keeps it out of my legs. My wife is much smaller, so when she rides with me she simply swings hers more toward the side where it works better for her. That adjustability makes a huge difference.

Installation was very easy, they feel solid, and they honestly look like something that could have come factory in the car. Great product and great quality. Highly recommended for anyone with a classic car that lacks usable cup holders.

Excellent product! Well made and very versatile. I was able to mount these in a 1963 Triumph Spitfire in a novel way - there is a tall ridge in front of the seat mount and I was able to mount the shorter rail insert 90° to the seat rail and it fits perfectly. I don't even have to swing it out of the way when not using as it's not obtrusive in any way. Thank you!!

Thank you for your feedback! Looks great!

It's just okay. The length of the arm that holds the cup should have been made of a thicker material. Using the cup insert puts to much weight on the arm, ( 16 oz water bottle ). The arm had a chip in the finish and the cup insert was squeezed up and wrapped with tape before being jammed in to the package, it's own protective box would have been a better option.

Hi,
Thank you you for your feedback. The cup holder was designed to sit close to the floor, so the cup or bottle is supported on the floor. It’s not really designed to hold the weight of a full bottle or cup. Also, the flexcup wasn’t designed to hold anything more than keys, wallet, etc.. the weight of a water bottle may cause the flexcup to fall out.

If you don’t mind sharing more photos of your install, we can help suggest alternative install configurations to bring the assembly closer to the floor.

Sorry to hear about the scratched parts. Please send photos of those, and we will send in replacements.

Thank you
Joey

Nice design. Easy install. Shipping was pretty quick. Instructions could be a little more clear. Definitely concerned on how well this will hold up during use, being that it's made from very lightweight aluminum. The mounting brackets are a little flimsy / easily bent. This would be a much better product if at least the mounting brackets were made from mild steel instead of aluminum, if not the whole thing. For over a hundred bucks shipped, I was definitely disappointed. Price point should be half that. It's installed in the car & we'll see how it goes, but I don't have high hopes.

Thank you for your feedback. We continue to improve and update our cup holder and we will take your feedback into consideration for our next iteration. The cup holder is meant to be used close to the floor, so that the cup or bottle is supporting onto the floor.

We hope you will be satisfied with our product. if you are not, please email us, and we will work out a solution.

Thank you,
Rinashi

I love the simplistic design and analog look of the cup holder. The variety of install tabs slides and lengths gives you a ton of flexibility to get it right where you want it. The one area for improvement would be to stiffen up the whole assembly. I used the shortest base plate and set the sleeve assembly at its longest (needed to clear my fire extinguisher). It’s a little flimsy if you move your cup around in it. All in all I’m happy with it. It was the most expensive option but also the most hidden and fits with the vintage of the car.

Thank you for your feedback. We continue to improve and update our cup holder and we will take your feedback into consideration for our next iteration. The cup holder is meant to be used close to the floor, so that the cup or bottle is supporting onto the floor.

Thank you,
Rinashi

The unit was very easy to install on my 1974 911 Carrera. Works great and does not bother the passenger.

Works great. In retrospect I probably should have ordered a larger cup holder and installed the rubber strip. The rubber strip on the smallest cup holder makes it too small.

Very flimsy

Hi Charles, thank you for your feedback. Please make sure the cup holder is installed to allow the cup or bottle to sit directly on the floor. Also, make sure all fasteners are tightened. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

A little complicated to setup but the YouTube video helped. Just feels very flimsy, I get the metal being bendable to fit different cars but it doesn’t feel sturdy at all, I had high hopes and this did not meet them unfortunately

Great for restomods!

I really love coffe. I also really love my car. I dodnt want an ugly conspicuous cup holder attached to my dash, and i didnt want a bulky non period correct center console cup holder, so i had been hilding my coffee cup between my legs or tossing it in the passenger seat and then constantly stretching to pick it up off the floor while i drove.

Rinashi was a great solution and the assortment of pieces gave me pmenty of options for dead simple and quickly reversible install. Two thimbs up!

Love this... however, I also learned a valuable lesson. Installing it to the seat rail went flawlessly until I moved the seat forward to vacuum the back. Moving the seat forward bent the extension bar (I used the shorter one in the pack). So I reinstalled everything a second time with the longer bar, and now everything looks (and functions) amazing.

Fot and finish was a bit underwhelming. A couple edges were not smooth, had small chunks of metal sticking out, likely from the manufacturing process. Instructions a bit lacking for how attach bith cup holders in the Sunday drive bundle.

Before you ask

Answered, up front.

Will it fit my car?

If your seats bolt to rails, almost certainly — the kit ships with base plates and adapters for almost every rail type, and it's confirmed on everything from Porsche 356s to C10 pickups. Use the fitment selector on this page. If your car isn't listed, email info@rinashi.com — a real answer within a day, usually faster.

My seat bolts are recessed or vertical — will it work?

In most cases, yes. The kit includes multiple base plates and adapters, including for vertical seat-rail bolts — there's a dedicated install video for that setup. For recessed bolts, tell us your exact car and we'll confirm the right configuration before you order.

Which top-plate size fits my bottle?

Measure your bottle at its widest point. The 3" opening fits up to ø2.9" — cans, coffee cups, most water bottles. The 3½" fits up to ø3.4" — the 18 oz Yeti class. The 4" fits up to ø3.9" — large tumblers. By design the bottle rests on the car's floor: the plate steadies it, the floor carries the weight.

How long does installation really take — and what tools do I need?

Seat-rail cup holder: under 5 minutes with a wrench for your seat-rail bolts. 964/993 console holder: two factory screws, about 2 minutes with a ratchet. Phone mount: about 5 minutes — you'll want a flat pry or trim tool to lift the gauge (not included in the box).

What if it doesn't fit — or I change my mind?

Defective, damaged, or missing parts: contact us within 30 days with photos and we'll send a replacement or refund you in full, no cost to you. Changed your mind: returns are accepted within 30 days if the item is unused and in original packaging — you cover return shipping and a 25% restocking fee applies. So ask the fitment question first: it's free, and we answer within a day.

Will it mark or modify my car?

No drilling, no glue, no permanent changes. The cup holder bolts to existing seat-rail hardware; the 911 mount locks to the factory gauge housing. Both remove in minutes and the car goes back to exactly how the factory built it — no holes, no marks, no residue.

Do you ship to Australia, the UK, and Europe? What about duties?

Yes — worldwide, tracked, shipped from North America. USA and Canada: 3–7 days, $20 flat. International: 7–21 days, $60 flat. Orders are processed in 3–5 business days. International orders can attract local customs duties or taxes — those are the buyer's responsibility and aren't included in our prices.
